Do Yourself A Favor, better known as dyafthebrand, was founded to help educational institutions better connect with their minority students through fashion. With every sale, part of the profits goes towards a scholarship. As a lifestyle enrichment brand we help those same students succeed in life by helping them help themselves create the right mentalities and networks to be successful. We use what we call Triple A Assurance: Affirmation, Action and Accountability as the building block principles to ensure future success.

Affirmation

We believe that every person is able to be successful by first declaring they can be. The power to speak things into existence is one of the most powerful tools to success. It begins with you saying you can/will do what it takes to achieve the success you want.

Action

After encouraging oneself, saying exactly what needs to be and of course that it can/will be done, one must now “Do”. The word “Do” is an action verb, which means a person now must make a move on those words to make them come true. We believe teaching people that words are not enough, wishing is not enough but by doing and actually trying every possible outcome to just accomplish what you said was needed will be enough to put you in the game.

Accountability

Your in the game now and what will separate you from the next is the ability to be critical of oneself. The ability to recognize what you have done good, bad and in between. At the end of the day we are in control of ourselves and ones success is a result of the things we do or don’t do.
